Does Centric ATS replace our existing HRIS, or does it work alongside it?

Centric ATS is a recruitment and hiring platform. It's not an HRIS. It works alongside your existing HRIS (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, etc.) by handling the full pre-hire pipeline and then passing confirmed hire data into your HRIS at offer acceptance or Day 1 onboarding. For Enterprise Hiring deployments, our team builds the integration between Centric ATS and your HRIS so the handoff is seamless and automated. Your HRIS stays the system of record for employee data, Centric ATS owns the candidate journey.

We're already on Microsoft 365. ow does Centric ATS connect to our environment?

Centric ATS is built natively on Microsoft SharePoint, so it installs directly into your existing Microsoft 365 tenant. Authentication uses your Azure Active Directory, no separate login for your team. Job postings, candidate records, approval workflows, and interview coordination all live inside SharePoint and Teams, within your existing data governance and security policies. Your IT team doesn't need to open new security exceptions or provision a separate infrastructure. If your organization already has a SharePoint Intranet, Centric ATS integrates with it directly for internal job postings.

How does the AI resume screening work, and can we control the criteria it uses?

The AI resume screening agent parses incoming applications and scores each candidate against criteria you define required skills, experience levels, education, certifications, and custom job-specific criteria. For Hiring Lite, the AI uses the job description as its primary reference. For Enterprise Hiring, the AI is trained on your competency frameworks, historical hiring data, and job family taxonomies so scoring reflects how your organization actually evaluates talent. You can review every AI score, see the reasoning behind each ranking, and override decisions at any point. The system flags candidates it's uncertain about for human review rather than auto-rejecting them.

Is Centric ATS compliant with EEOC and OFCCP requirements?

Yes. Centric ATS is designed with US federal hiring compliance requirements built in. EEOC-compliant structured evaluation criteria are enforced at every screening stage to ensure hiring decisions are based on job-related factors. The platform maintains complete audit logs, every candidate view, evaluation, and decision is captured with user, timestamp, and reason to support OFCCP record-keeping obligations. For Enterprise Hiring clients, adverse action workflows (including legally compliant pre-adverse and adverse action notices) are configurable within the platform. Our implementation team reviews your specific compliance requirements during the Discovery phase.

What's the difference between Hiring Lite and Enterprise Hiring, and how do I know which is right for us?

Hiring Lite is for organizations that need to be operational quickly with a standardized hiring process, it's pre-configured, available from the Azure Marketplace, and works out of the box for most small-to-midsize US hiring teams. Enterprise Hiring is for organizations with complex approval hierarchies, multi-department or multi-location hiring, regulated industries, or requirements for deep HRIS and payroll integration. A good rule of thumb: if your current hiring process requires custom approval chains, involves 50+ hires per year across multiple departments, or has specific compliance mandates beyond standard EEOC, Enterprise Hiring is the right path. Can Centric ATS post jobs to LinkedIn, Indeed, and other US job boards automatically?

Yes. Centric ATS includes native integrations with LinkedIn Jobs, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Handshake (for university recruiting), and your internal SharePoint job board. When a job requisition is approved, it can be published to any combination of these channels simultaneously with a single action. Applications from all channels flow back into a single unified candidate pipeline in SharePoint, so your recruiting team never has to check multiple platforms or manually consolidate applicants.
